Seize the Birthday #17 {For You}-Sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps

This week at Seize the Birthday, it is my turn to create a sketch and I went with an old standby that I love to use. It is an easy sketch but feel free to change up the rectangle element and make the sketch your own!

I have fallen in love with Bugaboo Stamps...seriously! Wow, they are fun to colour and I loved the sweetness to the images. I paired this adorable Elephant called Edward Elephant Flower with some pretty paper by Simple Stories I just purchased from Paper Issues.

{Supplies Used}
Stamps: Bugaboo Stamps-Edward Elephant
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black and Copics
Papers: Simple Stories DSP, Kraft, White, Black

CAS {Thanks a Bunch} for FMS, SRM Stickers, CASology, Simon Says Stamp {Flower Power}

I used SRM Stickers for the very first time! There is no inking on this card at all and the sentiment is a sticker from the Thank You word set from SRM Stickers called Sticker Sentiments {Thank You}. I didn't even know about SRM stickers until my new pal Amy T used them and then I was intrigued. While shopping at my local scrapbook on Friday, I found some! I couldn't believe it!!! So I bought them and finally used them!

{Supplies Used}
Stamps: None
Inks: None
Papers: SU! Cardstock-Red, Yellow, Turquoise and Green
Extras: SRM Stickers

My card is inspired by the following challenges:

There She Goes, MUSE and The Paper Players {Smile, live in the moment}

Yeah!! Stamping tonight and I played along with the Paper Players, There She Goes and MUSE. I wanted to create something clean and simple and I LOVED the colours at the Paper Players. Plus the challenge at There She Goes is Moving On which I can relate to. Myself and other teachers will be "moving on" to new schools and classrooms at the end of June and I know how stressful that can be...so I thought, "living in the moment" was probably a good way to approach moving...it can be pretty overwhelming.

Here is the MUSE inspiration card by Therese Calvird, I love it!!

Oh my goodness, it is adorable!! Love those sweet "ellies"!!! So I went to work and had to break into my newest stamps from There She Goes. I love the "Oh Snap" set by Torico. I have a confession to make, the washi tape went on to my card to cover my inky thumbprint, I was so upset when I got my inky mess on this CAS card! But Washi tape saved the day! Thank goodness!!

{Supplies Used}
Inks: Gumball Green, Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple
Papers: White, Kraft
Extras: Bella BLVD Washi, Baker's Twine, Embossing Folder (Stripes SU!) and Big Shot, Corner Rounder

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge {Merriest Holiday Season}

Welcome to another week of the Merry Monday Christmas card Challenge. We hope you will join us and link up a Christmas card using the sketch above. This week I created another card with my Poinsettia die from Spellbinders. I love it. Before I lifted off the metal die from the cut paper, I used it as a stencil and inked the "veins" of the poinsettia and the leaf. I am playing along with the One Year Anniversary Challenge over at Dynamic Duos and chose Cherry Cobbler and my Choice, which is Crumb Cake.

{Supplies Used}
Stamps: Memory Box
Inks: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake
Papers: Teresa Collins, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake
Extras: Pearls, Poinsettia Die, Sponges, Dimensionals

Nautical Dad {Paper Smooches}, Ribbon Carousel and Moxie Fab Gift Card Holder

Today is Mother's Day and I am making a Father's Day project!! I was inspired to play along with the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge, it is a nautical theme.

The $5 gift card was in my hubby's wallet and it is not what I will be giving to my father in-law but I wanted to show how I would attach a gift card. In its place will be a Tim Horton's coffee card...oh yeah...he loves his Tims!

I also wanted to play along with Moxie Fab's 350 Cards & Gifts Week: The Gift Card Holder Challenge again and  The Ribbon Carousel (Celebration).

I used the Paper Smooches set called "Space Cadet"...the sentiment and the stars are from that set and I knew it would be perfect for my father inlaw as he is on our Croghan Crew when we are on the boat!! Both he and my hubby LOVE to go fishing!

Here he is, the proud fisherman from last weekend!! He is SUCH a character! LOL! First catch of the season. I just adore this fella...look at that happy face.

Dynamic Duos One Year Anniversary, Freshly Made Sketches, Moxie Fab and There She Goes {Dream in Color}

One year of colour combos have gone by at Dynamic Duos! Every 6 months, Anne Marie and I change up the design team and each group has been wonderful to work with!!! Although we are on our third design team, we are only at one year of challenges and this week we are celebrating our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY by using our past favourite "Dynamic Duo" Colour Combo!

My favourite combo is easily Poppy Parade and Lucky Limeade! YUM! I love bright and happy colours. I was so excited to create a little gift set with the colours.

My card sketch comes from the lovely ladies over at Freshly Made Sketches, I used a brand new stamp which I received in the mail today from There She Goes. I LOVE it!!! I decided to play along again with the There She Goes Paper Piecing Challenge and stamped the flower in Red and fussy cut it. I also stamped the leaves in Crumb Cake and coloured part of them in with a Lime colour. I also wanted to play along with Moxie Fab's 350 Cards & Gifts Week: The Gift Card Holder Challenge.

I used a glassine bag to create a small gift card holder. And then I tried to mimic the design on my card for the bag topper. Then sentiment comes from the TSG set called "The Beary Best". I used a velcro tab to make the bag reusable. I took a close up of it.

MOJO Monday, Ribbon Carousel & There She Goes {Wedding Shower}

Woot! Another card this week and just for fun! I was inspired to play along with the "There She Goes" Paper Piecing Challenge, The Ribbon Carousel (Celebration) and the MOJO Monday Sketch. The umbrellas are from the sweet set called The Beary Best. I used some paper by MME called "Tangerine". This is a bit busier than I usually do but I thought the sentiments on the paper were fun and perfect for the side panel. This is actually a Wedding Shower card for my...sssshhhhh...sister! I need to put it away until the summer. She is all those things: darling, warmhearted, sweet, beautiful, delightful, spunky and lovely...

Edited to add: So thrilled to be the Fabulous Find over at the Ribbon Carousel!
