Colour Me #5 & TAWS BIC #46

This week at Colour Me, we are using up to 5 colours of YOUR CHOICE! Whew, this was a toughie for me but then I went looking through my designer paper and found some that had 5 colours in it!!!

The paper gave me the idea...and then I went looking for a "birthday" stamp but suddenly it dawned on me, when I pulled this sentiment out of my stash! It worked well with the image from TAWS and the paper!

Once again, I was inspired to play along with the BIC Challenge!!! Love the busy patterns on the cups and the colours!!! The orange and blues really stand out to me! Great inspiration!

Merry Monday #93 {Ornaments on your Christmas Card} & Seize the Sketch #12

The new Merry Monday Challenge this week is to use ornaments. I went to work, looking for a fun sketch and loved Stacey's sketch at Seize the Sketch

I finally purchased the ornament dies from Stampin' Up. I have the stamps too but decided to emboss one ornament and use some designer paper for the other one.

A quick and easy card to make.

Fresh Squeezed Stamps Design Team Creation (MOJO & CCC)

Good morning stamping friends!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sweetest Fresh Squeezed stamp set called "Hootie Who?" (Be sure to click the name of the set to order it.)

This owl themed set was one I had on my wishlist for a LONG time! I adore owls, they are throughout my classroom decor and I own about 10 different owl mugs!

Hootie Who?

The small flags were created with some strips of red card stock scraps and then using a square punch to create the little v's in the strip....making small flags.

I am playing along with these current challenges:

Colour Me & The Alley Way BIC Challenge {We Click}

This week at Colour Me, we are using Gumball Green, Blushing Bride, Pumpkin Pie & Pool Party ...have fun! I am still their Guest Deisgner and I had fun using these bright colours. I got out some paper and went to town adding lots of layers. Sorry for the dark photo!

I used one of my favourite sets from The Alley Way Stamps. The cool thing is, the colours matched their current BIC Challenge! SO I just had to play along.

Merry Monday #92 {Colours with Ribbon}

This week's Merry Monday Challenge is fabulous and chosen by my teammate, Karen Davis. The inspiration is awesome from the team...they have gone above and beyond!

I love flowers and poinsettias. I just had to have this beautiful poinsettia stamp set from Stampin' Up. I stamped it onto red paper with black ink and then cut it out for some easy paper piecing. Then I added some burlap ribbon, also from Stampin' Up and wrapped some twine around it. And I am REALLY into Sequins these days, so I added a square sequin to the middle of my poinsettia.

Someone did not want me to take a photo of my card...hehehe...she loves the heat from the light tent. Penney is my craftroom helper!

Go and play along with us this week...and we have two new designers joining us too!!!

Today is my turn to share a project over at Fresh Squeezed Stamps! I am also playing along with the Curtain Call Colour Challenge!

I am sharing a simple Valentine using the new Fresh Squeezed Stamps set called When Hearts Collide. I love using pink and blues for Valentine Cards...but equally enjoy red and black too!!

I had a great time, inking up the different hearts in this adorable stamp set! Love the sentiment too..and I stamped it twice...once in a light aqua blue and once in black.
